Arkansas State University campus in Querétaro, México (A-State Campus Querétaro, or A-State CQ) invites applications for an instructor position to teach in the areas of Principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics and other introductory level economics courses. |
| Habilidades e idiomas requeridos: |
We are seeking dynamic, qualified colleagues who use modern methods and pedagogies in the classroom. All faculty candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in the relevant area (or related areas) with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the field, a PhD is preferred. Additional preference will be given to candidates with educational and teaching experience in the United States. The language of instruction is English. The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses in the relevant area mentioned above. |
| Experiencia necesaria: |
Faculty must meet all relevant qualifications for similar employment at Arkansas State University. However, faculty will NOT become employees of Arkansas State University – instead, they will be employed by a private sector foundation registered in Mexico for this purpose. All non-Mexican national faculty members must qualify for employment as a foreign worker in Mexico, with this process being managed by A-State Quere?taro at no cost to the faculty member.
Compensation in Mexican pesos will be guided by prevailing Mexican rates for university faculty with the expectation that A-State CQ intends to be a preferred employer among institutions of higher education in Mexico. |
