Responsabilidades: Arkansas State University Campus Queretaro invites applications for a full-time English and Literature professor starting in January 2022. We seek a colleague who can instruct English courses on researching, reading and writing for non-major students. Responsibilities: Instruction of a standard teaching load of five courses per semester for instructor faculty. This includes preparing syllabi and classes, conducting assessment, providing feedback and academic advice, and developing courses. Dedication of office hours to tutoring at the Student Success Center to foster a climate of academic excellence and participation in faculty committees. Additional responsibilities may include recruitment of students and faculty for our growing campus and support in the development of our industry network to establish collaborations, provide events on campus, and facilitate potential community building activities for our students.
Habilidades e idiomas requeridos: At least a master’s degree in the discipline or in a related field Must demonstrate fluency in the language of instruction, English
Experiencia necesaria: Educational and/or teaching experience in the United States preferred Commitment to liberal arts education and interest in primarily teaching the general education courses of Composition I, Composition II, and World Literature
